If you’ve been following the Antminer S19 series, you’re probably excited about the release of Bitamin’s most powerful Bitcoin miner yet. Unveiled at The World Digital Mining Summit last year, the Bitmain Antminer S19 XP (140 Th) promises greater efficiency and profitability than its rivals. In this article, we will review the Antminer S19 XP so you can know what to expect from the mining rig.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 195 x 290 x 400mm
  • Weight: 14,500g
  • Power: 3010W
  • Noise level: 75db
  • Temperature: 5°C – 45°C

Brief overview of the Bitmain Antminer S19 XP

Based on the unveiling at the summit last year, the X19 XP will share some semblance with its predecessors but with major improvements to make it look sleeker. Essentially, it will be a box that has all the fans alongside each other but from all indications, it will have a slightly smaller footprint than miners from the brand.

Mining capability of the Bitmain Antminer S19 XP

According to information released by the manufacturer, this equipment can mine up to 29 coins including Peercoin, Acoin, Curecoin, eMark, Unbreakable and more. As per standard, you can also mine Bitcoin, and Binance BTC. Mining Pools include AntPool, NiceHash, Poolin, SlushPool and ViaBTC.

It’s important to note that the S19 XP is an SHA-256 machine, an algorithm that’s synonymous with Bitcoin mining. This ensures you’re able to solve more problems faster than other algorithms on the market.

Performance of the Bitmain Antminer S19 XP

The Antminer S19 XP is expected to pack a lot of computing power, which stands at 140 Th/s. At the moment, no other rig on the market boasts such computing power.

Specifications released indicate that this miner has a power consumption of 3010 W off the wall with an efficiency of 21.5 joules per tetra hash (J/TH), which is more efficient than its immediate precessor’s (S19 Pro) 29.5 J/Th. The hash power and efficiency represent a 27% increase from previous generations of the S19.

Profitability of the S19 XP

Based on its improved specs, the S19 XP is expected to achieve a 40% profitability more than the S19 Pro. With energy consumption of 6¢/KWh, the S19 XP will likely yield a profit of about $40 a day after energy bills are deducted. In a nutshell, this miner can generate around $1,200 in a month.

Some experts believe that profits might be higher, especially since the miner ran at 126TH/s during the unveiling, which means it didn’t warm up to its full capacity of 140 TH/s. If this is the case, actual profitability of the rig will be clear when it arrives.

Warranty

Much like most miners. The new Antminer machine has a 1-year warranty period, with official Bitmain after-sales service.

Wrap-up

The release of the Antminer S19 XP was originally slated for 2021 but was postponed by Bitmain. Now, the miner is expected to arrive by July 2022 but the expected features and performance has generated anticipation among miners for this piece of technology. If you’re looking to improve your profitability, you might want to invest in this equipment.
